Leighton is a local boy, from Bradford, with a remarkable story of success against the odds...a former fork lift truck driver turned self-made nail & beauty expert with a multi-million pound global empire. Whilst Leighton was building his empire of appointed salons worldwide, he recognised a gap in the nail care market and so in 2005 the game-changing, multi-award-winning Leighton Denny Expert Nails brand was born - prescriptive, skincare for nails -bringing expert nail care out of the salon and into the home, revolutionising the nail market forever.
Leighton has always pushed boundaries. He became the first ever nail expert to be awarded an MBE from the Queen for his services to the nail and beauty industry in 2015, was awarded the rare honorary PHAB Standard Accolade, which recognises a qualified level of excellence in the Performance of Hair and Beauty and has amassed over 70 industry awards including being awarded British Nail Technician of the Year 4 times in a row, and the first manicurist to be voted into the British Beauty Hall of Fame. Leighton's first book, How I Nailed It, became the number one best-selling autobiography in the Beauty & Fashion section of Amazon just 24 hours after its release. Leighton is currently an ambassador for the British Dyslexia Association and has previously been a proud supporter and ambassador for charities St. Oswald’s Hospice, Jeans for Genes and Breast Cancer Care, raising awareness & funds through initiatives with his product ranges.
While Leighton has achieved so much in such a short amount of time - including over 15 awards for his iconic Crystal Nail File - he is not stopping anytime soon! In 2021 Leighton was awarded two Beauty Bible Awards for his Undercover Base Coat and 75% Plant-Based Nail Polish, his Renovate Treatment won best nail cream in the Good Housekeeping Institute Awards. He was awarded a 2022 Cosmopolitan Beauty Award with his Encourage EDP, and a Get The Gloss award for Nail Rebirth, four Beauty Bible Awards in 2023 including for his Renovate products, Woman & Home Beauty Beauty Buys 2023 for Renovate Cuticle Oil, and WhoWhatWear Next In Beauty Award 2023 for his Renovate Shield. Already in 2024 the Leighton Denny nail polishes have been awarded the Good Housekeeping Institute 'best nail polish'. Leighton continues to expand his product range and expertise, fulfilling the needs of beauty lovers everywhere.

All of our nail colours are formulated without Formaldehyde, Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), Toluene, Formaldehyde Resin, Camphor, Xylene, MEHQ/HQ, MIT, Parabens, Animal Derived Ingredients and Gluten. Our fragrances are also vegan and cruelty free.
