Shrouded in shame & secrecy and criminally under-researched and under-medicated, perimenopause is just another example of a gender data gap in healthcare that needs to be closed.
Just get on with it. Grin and bear it. Life goes on. And the female pain cycle continues.
We’re here to break the cycle. Fuck suffering through your symptoms. Fuck pretending it’s not happening because it’s impolite. Fuck staying quiet and ignoring the hormonal havoc being wreaked on your insides. This is the era of less fucks for those who have the privilege of entering the next phase of womanhood that awaits.
At Valerie, we’re here to drag the perimenopause kicking and screaming out into the open. We want to put the power back into women’s hands. We want to empower women with the tools and knowledge they need to regain control and live life on their terms.
