Research and Clinical Trials
We are redefining a global category through science and evidence-backed technology. Leveraging new and emerging research, we developed a unique formulation with an ongoing commitment to clinical and consumer data.
Curiosity fuels us. Our work is grounded in the credibility of science and delivered with heart. We believe in the transformative power of knowledge, and we use it to create meaningful, impactful change.
Real People, Real Results
Consumer Trial
Being customer-obsessive, we recognise that consumer insights are invaluable to building trust, credibility and shaping our reputation. That’s why we conducted a rigorous in-house consumer trial for our new innovation to gauge effectiveness and satisfaction.
Our approach allows us to understand how our products perform in real-world settings. Participants provide insights into their experiences, noting changes in their mental and physical wellbeing, how they feel, and the ease of regimen.
On launching Valerie, we started an entire movement. We are pioneering a new standard in ingestible supplements, driven by science. By engaging with our community in this way, we ensure the product reflects the needs and desires of our consumers, and provides them with the strongest possible results. And we are super proud of those results.
High Bioavailability, Validated
Clinical Trials
We invest in independent, 3rd party clinical research to evaluate the bioavailability efficacy of our liposomal formulation and substantiate our claims. This level of investment is not a requirement in the supplement industry, but is something we prioritise to give our consumers the confidence in their own investment into their health routine, and themselves.
Bioavailability refers to the active amount of a nutrient entering the bloodstream as compared to how much was initially consumed.
The clinical studies demonstrate this increase in bioavailability, otherwise known as nutrient absorption rate, when using our patent-pending liposomes vs other traditional supplement formats like tablets and powders.
Bioavailability Study
Liposomal Iron
- The aim of this study was to compare the bioavailability of a liposomal iron supplement to non-liposomal iron supplement in powder form.
- The results showed liposomal iron is 398 times more bioavailable than the non-liposomal powder iron product of the same dose.
- It can maintain elevated serum ferritin levels for up to 12 hours. This is achieved even without the addition of vitamin C.
Bioavailability Study
Liposomal Curcumin
- The objective was to evaluate the bioavailability of liposomal curcumin
compared to a non-liposomal
curcumin supplement. - The results showed liposomal curcumin is 46.8 times more bioavailable than the non-liposomal curcumin product of the same dose.
- Analysis showed the liposomal supplement maintained plasma curcuminoid levels significantly higher than baseline for the full six hours of testing.
Bioavailability Study
Liposomal Magnesium
- The aim of this study was to evaluate the bioavailability that Valerie's Liposomes provide magnesium when compared to a non-liposomal magnesium supplement in tablet form.
- The results showed liposomal magnesium is 5.2 times more bioavailable than a standard magnesium product at the same dose.
- The liposomal supplement produced serum magnesium levels significantly higher than the standard group at every time point.
Don’t delay your journey to feeling fierce
Valerie is here to support you every step of the way. You deserve an evidence-based product that delivers real results.
Are you ready to join the thousands who’ve taken back control?
Your questions about the Trial, answered:
Who took part in the Trial, and how were they chosen?
Selected based on age, health status, and whether they were taking supplements or HRT. Some were already aware they were in perimenopause (26 participants), while others weren’t that sure yet.
We recruited a mix; 18 were already taking other supplements, 7 weren’t taking any, and 6 were on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT).
Basically, it helped us get a well-rounded view of how Valerie could help different people.
How did you collect feedback, and how often did you check in?
We tracked symptoms right from the start (week 0) and then checked in every two weeks over the 12-week trial.
Feedback was collected using self-assessment questionnaires and we created a supportive WhatsApp group where participants could chat, share their experiences, and help each other stay consistent with taking Daily Essential.
What kind of results can I expect from taking Valerie Daily Essential?
The results were pretty amazing!
96% of participants said they felt more focused and clear-headed and 92% reported feeling calmer.
We also saw better sleep (59%), less moodiness (68%), and a boost in confidence (70%).
What’s more, 63% noticed an increase in libido, and 50% experienced less bloating.
And, most impressively perhaps, every single participant said they’d recommend Valerie to a friend.
What sets Valerie apart from other supplement products?
Valerie uses a special liquid format called liposomal that helps your body absorb the nutrients better.
Unlike capsules or powders that can lose their potency in the gut, our liposomal technology yields a higher bioavailability, delivering the nutrients to where you need it.
Put simply, the liposomes maximise absorption, so the nutrients reach your bloodstream without being broken down by stomach acid or liver enzymes.
What happens if I miss a dose? Will it make a big difference?
Oh yes, it can make a difference…
Many participants who missed a day or two (especially after using it consistently for 6 weeks) noticed they felt less sharp, had lower energy, and were more irritable.
The feedback specifically came after participants had been consistently taking Daily Essential for about 6 weeks.
Not to scare you or anything, but it’s a really good reminder to take consistently and keep up the daily habit to get the best results.
